OVERVIEW
How Does it Compare to Other Air Cycle?
Our Xebex Air Cycle was invented with a professional cyclist’s team. The angle of the cycling movement on this equipment is the same as how a professional cyclist moves on their bike. And as the resistance increases, it perfectly mimics the feeling when a cyclist is biking uphill. Our freewheel design also allows you to have the feeling that you are riding a real bike since when you stop pedaling, the feet and pedals are stopped while the flywheel continues to turn. Our goal for our air cycle is to give the user the best cycling experience.

FLYWHEEL, DAMPER, AND POWER SETTING
Increase your power and strength training by adjusting AirPlus (magnetic) resistance on top of just the air resistance found on other air cycles. On the right-hand side of the flywheel, the rider can pull the AirPlus knob and adjust between 1 to 8 magnetic AirPlus levels. Using just air, the rider can mimic about 0-15 degrees of incline, while adjusting the AirPlus settings increases resistance by four times as high. The air-based flywheel puts the rider in control of intensity at all times. A 10-setting damper allows the rider to adjust the amount of airflow during his or her ride, to increase or decrease the intensity. Riders can easily keep track of the resistance level the damper is set on with the cycle’s brightly-lit display.
TRAIN SMARTER
The Xebex Air Cycle includes a brightly-lit, color-coded LCD display that is the only display of its kind that indicates the damper level and the magnetic resistance level directly on the console. The display shows the Air Damper Resistance Level, AirPlus Resistance Level, Time, Distance, Calories, RPM, Watts, Speed, Pulse at all times, along with Calories/Hour when you switch modes. The easy-to-read console is designed for simplicity and the ability to know your progress at all times using a color-coded Progress Circle. The Progress Circle can be assigned to represent any distance, calorie, or time that you preset, or a 1000m lap by default. It also includes a color-coded display for Watts Output and Heart Rate Zone so you can track your intensity at a glance. Smart Connect ability allows you to connect to a variety of 3rd party apps found in our Smart Connect Ecosystem.
SMART CONNECT ECOSYSTEM
The easy-to-use console features Smart Connect, which allows users to connect our Smart Connect equipment to a variety of 3rd party apps. Easily connect to 3rd party apps such as ZWIFT, Kinomap, GymTrakr, Xert, Sufferfest, and RGT Cycling, and many more apps. We recommend the Arkon tablet holder for easy mounting of your tablet. Peloton Compatibility — The Peloton app uses a different bluetooth connection than the industry standard that we use in our Smart Connect consoles. Therefore, a separate “Peloton Compatible Sensor” is required to purchase if you plan to connect the AirPlus Cycle to the Peloton app. Simply select this option above if you’d like to have the sensor in order to connect to Peloton app for cadence tracking.
SMOOTHER, MORE COMFORTABLE BIKING EXPERIENCE
The Xebex Air Cycle uses dual, enhanced polygroove belts with a self-tensioning system. The belt-driven Cycle provides a smooth and quiet experience.
LIKE A REAL ROAD BIKE
With the Xebex Air Cycle, the rider experiences a freewheel design — when you stop pedaling, the flywheel continues to turn even though your feet are stopped. This forces the rider to use all the muscles in their legs to move the flywheel around, just like a real road bike. This feature also provides gym operators and trainers a much safer training experience. A typical ‘spinning’ bike has a fixed-gear attachment to the flywheel. This means the pedals are directly connected to the flywheel and while the rider’s initial effort gets the wheel moving, the momentum of the flywheel helps the rider by propelling their feet around with the flywheel. This reduces the effectiveness of training and can present a safety concern as well.
EASY ACCESS TO RESISTANCE ADJUSTMENTS
The Xebex AirPlus Cycle frame is angled upwards to make adjusting the damper and AirPlus resistance settings easy.
COMFORT AND ADJUSTMENTS
Xebex AirPlus Cycles are easily adjustable to comfortably fit athletes. The handlebar height can be adjusted by 30 levels spanning an 11.65” range and can also be adjusted forwards and backwards along a 7.56″ range. The console tilts 270 degrees for quick and easy viewing. The seat post height is adjustable by 30 levels along a range of 11.65” and the seat has a forward/backward adjustment of 1.5” with a 30-degree tilt. Steel mesh that faces the rider is completely filled, blocking any uncomfortable air/wind directed toward the rider’s face and body during use. Metal pedals with toe-cups are included.
DURABLE CONSTRUCTION
Xebex AirPlus Cycles are overbuilt for durability and sturdiness. The 127LB base provides a stable foundation for users up to 350LB. We use metal and steel where others don’t. Xebex AirPlus Cycles include two front wheels to make storage and transport easy. Simply tilt the bike at the rear base and roll away. Additionally, Xebex AirPlus Cycles require minimal assembly. We include all the necessary tools, hardware, and clear, illustrated instructions. Allow 20-30 minutes to complete the job.

FAQ
1. What’s the difference between the “AirPlus” resistance and the regular air resistance on the Xebex AirPlus Cycle?
The Xebex AirPlus Cycle provides two unique ways to adjust intensity: magnetic and air resistance. Regular air resistance lets you control the airflow through the flywheel with a 10-setting damper. The AirPlus magnetic resistance adds an extra layer of challenge, offering 8 additional levels on top of the air resistance.
2. How can I track my current resistance level on the Xebex AirPlus Cycle?
The AirPlus Cycle features a brightly-lit display that clearly shows both the AirPlus knob setting (1-8) and the damper setting (1-10) on the far left and far right of the console display.
3. How does the SMART Connect console differ from the regular console?
- SMART Connect console shows your exact resistance level (air & magnetic) right on screen, and damper resistance on the left.
- It tracks a multitude of data from time, distance, calories, RPM, watts, speed, pulse, and even calories per hour in specific modes.
- The console is designed to set a goal for distance, calories, or time, and watch the progress circle fill up in vibrant colors.
- Plus, color-coded zones show your watts output and heart rate at a glance.
- You can also Connect to various fitness apps through our Smart Connect feature and make your workouts even more engaging.
4. Can I change the damper and magnetic resistance level during a workout?
Absolutely! Adjust the damper or magnetic or both anytime during your ride to match your current intensity level or challenge yourself with intervals.
5. Can I connect the Air Cycle to any fitness apps?
Yes! The Xebex Air Cycle uses industry-standard Bluetooth® connectivity, so you can easily connect to countless fitness apps to expand your training options.
6. Is the Peloton app compatible with the Air Cycle?
While the Air Cycle isn’t directly compatible with the Peloton app due to Bluetooth differences, we do offer an optional “Peloton Compatible Sensor” that needs to be installed to allow cadence tracking within the app. Choose this option when purchasing if interested!
7. How does the freewheel design differ from a typical spin bike?
Unlike typical spin bikes with fixed gears, the freewheel design mimics real road biking. When you stop pedaling, your feet stop, but the flywheel keeps spinning, forcing you to actively engage your muscles to restart. It’s a more natural and effective training experience.
